Barcelona center back, Gerard Pique is in trouble with the authorities after a confrontation led to him insinuating that police officers were jealous of his success.
Pique and his brother were pulled over outside a casino on Sunday and the former Manchester United defender was told to step out of his vehicle and subsequently fined. After being fined, Pique then screamed at the police officers claiming that they were jealous of him because he was famous. The Spanish international then went on to rumple the fine slip and throw it at the officers. Pique is scheduled to appear in court on charges of civil disobedience.
Pique has since issued a public apology for his actions
