No wonder Manchester United are accused of being favorites of referees. In their clash with Chelsea, Referee Phil Dowd knocked Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas to the ground as the Spainsh international attempted to chase down a pass in the first half.
Phil Dowd’s attention was squarely on the ball and he had no idea Fabregas was about to make a run behind him when he stepped into the former Arsenal captain’s path knocking him to ground.
