Actress Raven Symone got a lot of stick after she claimed to be American, and not African-American in an interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Raven was hit with a lot of criticism on social media, but she at least has a fan in the person of rapper T.I.
While he classifies himself as an African-American, he sees Raven’s point.
“I think she has an incredible point,” Tip told Larry King. “We are all American. To separate us–I think we need to find more reasons to unify rather than to divide each other.”
