neymar_brazil vs singapore

It was always going to be a mismatch when Brazil took on Singapore in a friendly and Neymar’s four goal haul made sure the difference in footballing pedigrees was not in question.

The Barcelona forward was named as captain of the side and he lead by example making little work of the Singapore defense, making them work tirelessly as he scored almost at will. It took just 18 minutes for Neymar to open the scoring, rounding the keeper and finishing into an empty net after some beautiful play in the midfield had put him through. The rest of his goals came in the second half, the first within three minutes of the restart as substitute Coutinho played Neymar in with a lovely through ball and the Barcelona forward slotted in past Kawashima. Brazil continued to threaten and returnees Kaka and Robinho were keen to show that they were worthy of a place in Dunga’s squad. Kaka saw is shot in the 67th minute come off the bar before Coutinho’s shot in the 77th minute was parried straight into Neymar’s path and the former Santos man made it a hat trick. In the 87th minute, Kaka and Robino came up with a beautiful exchange before Kaka stood a cross up to the back post for Neymar to head in and complete the rout.

Brazil were simply dominant from the blast of the whistle to the final whistle.
