Lewis Hamilton Claims Russian Grand Prix Crown

Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton continued his storm to the Formula One title as he came out victorious at the 2014 Russian Grand Prix.

The victory at Sochi was Hamilton’s 4th in a row and 9th of the season.

His Mercedes teammate Nico Roseberg finished second in the race despite suffering a setback in the first lap of the race.

With three more races to go before the end of the season,the title appears to be between Hamilton and Rosberg who have a 17-point difference between them.

The race at Sochi was overshadowed by the outpouring of support for Marussia driver,Jules Bianchi who is in a critical condition after last week’s crash in Japan.

However the race made up for dignitaries in attendance,with the Russian president Vladimir Putin in attendance.
