Arsenal, Chelsea And Manchester United Battle For 15 Years Old Teenage Star, Reece Oxford

Manchester United are ready to step up their interest in West Ham’s 15 years old defender Reece Oxford.

Oxford is already a target for Arsenal and Chelsea and United staff consider him the best young defender in the country, in recent times Arsenal has sent scouts to watch Oxford in action for the West Ham’s U-21

West Ham have offered a lucrative contract to Oxford but he is yet to commit his future to the club

Losing Oxford at this stage would be a blow to West Ham from both football and financial perspectives with the club likely to receive just £250,000 in compensation.

Joint-chairman David Sullivan said in a recent interview last month : ‘It almost makes you give up on having an academy if they can come in and nick your best 15-year-old. What’s the point ?’
