According to fresh reports reaching us from the Office of the Presidency in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, Seven ministers in President Goodluck Jonathan’s cabinet have resigned their positions.
It was recalled that the President had told his ministers with political ambitions to quit their posts on or before 20 October.
Those who resigned are Ministers of Information, Labaran Maku; Trade and Industry, Samuel Ortom; State for Education; Nyesom Wike, State for Defence; Musiliu Obanikoro; Labour, Emeka Wogu; Health, Onyebuchi Chukwu and State for Niger Delta, Dairus Ishaku
The ministers are said to have quitted their job in other to pursue their political ambitions as they will be contesting in the forthcoming gubernatorial elections in their respective states.
