Well Liverpool are still struggling for goals despite the return of Daniel Sturridge especially as they lost thirty goal man, Luis Suarez in the summer and they have turned their sights to Argentine goalscoring machine, Gonzalo Higuain.
Higuain is currently in talks with Napoli over a contract extension but the talks have been stalled as Napoli are reported to be dragging their feet over the player’s wages. Liverpool are reportedly watching the situation closely as they look to pounce and force Napoli to cash in on the Argentine in the summer. Higuain might cost Liverpool 40 million Euros and they might be willing to pay just to land the former Real Madrid hit man.
Liverpool might be letting go of Rickie Lambert, Mario Balloteli and a few other players to free up funds in order to land Higuain.
