Dreamer: Adebayor Wants To Leave Tottenham For Real Madrid Or Chelsea

Tottenham Hotspurs Togolese forward, Emmanuel Adebayor seems to have the confidence of a player currently performing at the level of Eden Hazard or teammate, Harry Kane. The former Arsenal man revealed earlier today that he would only leave Tottenham for Chelsea or Real Madrid in the summer despite not starting a match since November and playing constantly in the shadow of England’s newest super star, Harry Kane.

Adebayor in an interview with the Daily Mail revealed his transfer plans stating that Pochettino’s style of play did not suit him and that if he was going to leave Tottenham he would move to a club befitting of his status, a club like Real Madrid or Chelsea. Adebayor who spent a season on loan at Real Madrid in 2010/2011 is said to be a huge fan of Jose Mourinho and claims he thoroughly enjoyed his time at Real Madrid. For all his confidence, the former Monaco forward has not performed at the level he was in 2011 in the past two years.

With Ronaldo, and Benzema at Real Madrid and Diego Costa and Remy at Chelsea it seems quite unlikely that either club or any top European club for that matter would make a move the a 31 year old, out of form Adebayor. The former African footballer of the year would do well to cut his coat according to his cloth.
