Liverpool are set to trade in one striker for another again this season. This time, Liverpool are set to get rid of the misfiring Mario Balotelli and bring in the also misfiring Radamel Falcao.
Mario Balotelli and Falcao have both struggled for form since their summer moves to the p-remiership scoring less than 10 goals between them. Falcao is currently on loan at Manchester United from Monaco and has struggled for game time and goals while Balotelli came on a 16 million pound move from AC Milan and has struggled on the pitch and has been popular for his off the field antics too. Liverpool are however set to get rid of Balotelli and take a gamble with Falcao whose Manchester United career seems set to end with the season. Falcao has stated his desire to get more playing time and Liverpool might just be willing to give him that.
While both Falcao and Balotelli are going through a rough patch, you get the feeling that it might just be a while before they are banging in goals for fun again
