This would be music to the ears of Manchester United fans: Matts Hummels has rejected a possible move to Arsenal in the summer as he does not see himself furthering his career at the London club.
Matts Hummels affirmed that he most likely would leave Borrusia Dortmund at the end of the season but the world cup winning defender stated that he did not have any desire to go to Arsenal as the Lodon club were rumored to have offered Dortmund 35 million euros for his services last month. Manchester United are also interested in the player who told Daily Star “anything can happen and I’m looking at my options but right now, I just want to focus on doing my best for my club”.
Manchester United are the top contenders for Hummels’ signature and with his flat out rejection of Arsenal, they might just get the man they need to help in the restructuring of their backline which has been guilty of conceding some easy to defend goals this season.
