Chelsea may have just moved a step closer to landing Inter Milan’s Mauro Icardi after a recent statement by the Argentine in an interview.
Inter are believed to be set to overhaul their team in the summer as they might need to sell a few player to balance their books as they hope to make some loan deals permanent and bring in a few new faces. Icardi might be one of those players that current manager, Roberto Mancini may cash in on in the summer. Icardi has been worried about his future and with Chelsea and Manchester City rumored to be interested, icardi might favor a move away from Inter. In a recent interview with CNN, Icardi told the reporters that he was “ready to pack his bags” if that is what inter wanted.
Icardi would cost Chelsea or any other club interested around 30 million euros but judging on his current form, it would be money well spent.
