Bony: I’ll Be At My Best Next Season

Wilfried Bony decided to make the switch from small time Swansea City to big time Manchester City in January. Since his move however, Bony has struggled to be included in Manchester City’s starting squad and the Ivorian has watched his side struggle in recent weeks but he believes the best is yet to come, just not this season.

Bony, who has scored only one goal for Manchester City since his 35 million euro move admitted it was frustrating to be in the position he is but remained optimistic about his future in the club.

“Yes it’s been very frustrating, first because of injury and second because we are not winning games,” he is quoted as saying by the Daily Mirror. No one expects you to be 100 per cent in the first few weeks. I’m working very hard to get it back. It’s not coming as I would have expected and I’m not 100% yet but I hope to get quicker and score more. I still want to do something this season but next season I will be very good.”

We can only hope Bony gets back to being the attacking terror he used to be before his big money move.
