Wolfsburg midfielder Junior Malanda has passed away after an auto accident.
The 20-year old Belgian player was on his way to meet his teammates who were leaving to South Africa when the accident occurred.
Malanda, who appeared for Wolfsburg 15 times this season, was in the passenger’s seat.
The Royal Belgian Football Association tweeted: “The world of football has lost a great talent today. URBSFA sends its condolences to his family & friends #ripmalanda.”
