Gabon Knocked Out As Equatorial Guinea March On

Hosts, Equatorial Guinea have pulled the rabbit out of the hat as they put in a wonderful performance to beat Gabon and knock out Gabon beating them 2-0

Gabon controlled the game for most of the first half and were on top for most of the second half but in the 52^nd minute, Gabon paid for all their missed chances as Javier Balboa was brought down in the box. Balboa stepped up and gave Guinea the lead from the spot. Gabon threw everything forward in search of an equalizer and when Equatorial Guinea defended deep and in the 86^th minute, Equatorial Guinea countered with intent and when Emilio Nsue’s shot was blocked, Iban was on hand to poke the ball in and send the home fans into a frenzy.
