Novak Djokovic secured a place in the semi-finals of the Australian Open to face the man who knocked him out last time, Stan Wawrinka.
Djokovic breezed past Canadian Milos Raonic 7-6 (7-5), 6-4, 6-2 to move within a step of his 5th Australian Open final appearance.
“It was a great performance, definitely no complaints,” Djokovic said.
“I returned very well; I tried to get many balls back in play to have a good chance from back of the court. Some games I just had to let it go and wait for the opportunity that presented and try to to use them.
“I done that and served very well. It’s bad luck for Milos today, but he’s one of the up-and-coming rising stars, one of the three players challenging the top players in the world.”
