Nigeria Left In The Cold As Brazil Announce Chile Friendly

Super-Eagles

The NFF last year told the Nigerian football fans that there was an agreement in place and the Selecao of Brazil were set to play Nigeria at the new national Stadium in Uyo. Well, it seems Brazil did not hear about Nigeria’s plans as they went ahead and booked a friendly against Chile in London.

A spokesperson for the NFF last year told journalists that the friendly was not off, but Brazil were going to play France on the 26th of March before flying in to face Nigeria on the 29th. The first part is true as Brazil announced a match with France. But for the second part, it seems that Brazil would rather stay in London and play Chile than travel all the way to Nigeria.

Nigeria would be looking to take full advantage of the match free day and would now be looking for new opponents for the super eagles.
