Manchester City And Chelsea Play Out Another Draw

David Silva was on hand to cancel Loic Remy’s opener as two first half goals ensured that the points were shared yet again between Chelsea and Manchester City this season.

Chelsea started the half brightly, looking to frustrate City and hit on the break, and looked sturdy in midfield despite the absence of Fabregas. Chelsea finally took the lead in the 41st minute after Hazard received a diagonal pass in the box and lashed it across goal for Remy to put the league leaders ahead. Three minutes later, Chelsea failed to clear Sagna’s cross and the ball fell to Aguero whose shot was deflected in by David Silva. Both teams set out to cancel each other out in the second half and did so tremendously well.

Frank Lampard was introduced in the 77th minute of the game but did not have the same impact he did at the Etihad this time.
