Daniel Sturridge has been out of action for a while but Liverpool would be glad to have him back as he returned with a goal that sealed their win against West Ham.
Sturridge has been out for almost three months with two different injuries and came off the bench in the second half to make his first appearance of the year. Liverpool were in the lead after Sterling had put them in front. Sturridge got into the game and seemed like he had not lost a step. When he received the ball in the West Ham box, Sturridge moved past a defender before smashing the ball past the goal keeper into the net to make it 2-0 and make Liverpool’s three points secure.
Liverpool have suffered from lack of quality in attack but with Sturridge back, all those sufferings of the kop could be a thing of the past.
