Late Leicester City Goals Send Tottenham Out Of The FA Cup

Andros Townsend had given the North London side the lead in the first half but Schlupp and Ulloa had the final say as Leicester City went on at the expense of Tottenham.


Townsend was on hand to convert is second penalty of the week in the 19th minute after Moore brought down Soldado in the box. Tottenham played with plenty conviction but chances were few and far between. On the second half, Tottenham looked to kill of the game but didn’t and in the 82nd minute, as Ulloa was on hand to control the ball at the back post from a corner to make it 1-1. Spurs would have thought a draw would be okay but in the 92nd minute, Simpson put in a great cross and Schlupp was on hand to knock the ball into the net and knock Tottenham out of the FA cup.
