Mourinho has been formally charged by the English FA over his comments in the aftermath of Chelsea’s draw at Southampton in December.
The former Real Madrid manager told reporters that there seemed to be some kind of campaign against Chelsea and also went on to state that referee, Anthony Taylor could have had the yellow card he wrongly showed Fabregas for simulation rescinded by admitting he made a mistake but he didn’t. The FA claime the comments were misguided and questioned the integrity of the referees and the FA as a whole.
If found guilty, Mourinho could pay a fine of up to fifty thousand pounds but a touchline ban is out of the question as there was no incidence of violence or unsportsmanliness on the former Inter Milan manager’s part
