In a document showing the list of 14 presidential candidates and the deputies cleared to contest the February 14 elections, released yesterday by The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, the issue of General Muhammadu Buhari’s certificate was laid to rest.
The document however shows Gen. Buhari’s highest obtained certificate as the West African School Certificate. 2 other candidates had those same certificates.
23 others possessed either first degrees or the Higher National Diploma, HND and above, one of the candidates possessed the National Certificate in Education, NCE, while another also had the Nursing and Midwifery certificate, while six of the candidates had Ph.Ds.
