I Would Like To Play With Messi: Ronaldo

Speaking ahead of the FIFA Ballon D’Or gala, Ronaldo, Messi and Neuer were interviewed by journalists and the Portuguese admitted he would like to play with the Argentine and the German.

The players were asked who they would like to play with and while Messi and Neuer did not mention names, Ronaldo said “Football is about the present, The most important thing is the present. In the past there were great players, but for me it would be interesting to play with the two that are here with me now.”

When asked later, Messi revealed that he would not mind playing with the Portuguese, saying “I always like playing with the best players, It may be difficult because of the teams we play for, but I like to play with the best and he [Cristiano Ronaldo] is one of them.”

For the neutrals it would be a joy to watch Ronaldo and Messi play together.
