Arsenal Beat Manchester City At The Etihad

The Gunners produced what was arguably their best display of the season as they went to the Etihad, saw the challenge that was Manchester City and conquered the defending champions in front of their fans.

Manchester City dominated possession but Arsenal were deadly on the break, opening their opponents at will and in the 24^th minute, Kompany brought down Alexis Sanchez in the box as the forward chased down a return pass and Cazorla kept his nerve to make it one nil, slotting it past Hart into the net. Manchester City searched for an equalizer in the second half, but in the 67^th minute, Giroud was unmarked as he nodded in the ball after Cazorla knocked a free kick into the box to make it 2-0.

Arsenal are now one point behind Manchester United as they continue their chase for a top four finish.
