Manchester United Beat Hull City 3-0

man u hull

Manchester United put together a good display as goals from Smalling, Rooney and Van Persie helped Manchester United run out 3-0 winners at Old Trafford.

Smalling opened the scoring in the 17th minute after some shambolic defending on Hull City’s hands gifted the ball to Smalling who forced the ball into the net of McGregor’s hands. Manchester United’s opener came after Di Maria had been withdrawn in the 15th minute with a hamstring complaint. Manchester United’s second came in 42nd minute after Van Persie and Herrera played some lovely one touch football enabling the Dutchman lay the ball into the path of Rooney just outside the Hull City box. The England captain had no problem firing home to make it two. Manchester United did not kick into the fifth gear even in the second half but Hull City offered next to nothing in attack meaning that the Red Devils were never really threatened in defense. Manchester United’s third through Van Persie who fired the ball in from the edge of the area after creating a great angle for himself

Manchester United currently occupy the fourth position in the Barclays premier league and have now won three games in a row for the first time since December 2013.
