The Bat belongs in Gotham City, and not in Valencia.

This is why DC Comics, creator of the legendary superhero Batman, is kicking against La Liga club Valencia CF over their use of the bat crest.

DC Comics filed a complaint with the trademark arm of the European Union, claiming the logo is too close to two of its own images related to the caped crusader.

DC Comics may be over reaching a little, given as Batman’s first appearance was in 1939, while Valencia have been using a bat on their crest since 1919.
