The 2014 Federation Cup final clash between Enyimba and Dolphins produced one its lowest fans turnout at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos.
Enyimba beat Dolphins 2-1 to secure their fifth title against Stanley Eguma’s side did so in an almost empty stadium. A lot of seats were left vacant and despite the entrance fee being acceptable Nigerians in Lagos didn’t seem willing to attend the final clash and the atmosphere in the stadium was extremely dull..
The attendance figure stood at a little above 2,500 spectators, by far the lowest figure in the history of the competition that began in 1945.
