Giroud Out Of Arsenal Clash With Dortmund

Instead of taking to the field on Wednesday when Arsenal take on Borussia Dortmund in the champions league, Olivier Giroud would be watching in the stands despite being 100 percent fit.

Giroud who returned from injury with a glorious goal in the 2-1 loss to Manchester United on Saturday was expected to be out until January 2015 and so was not registered for the group stage of the champions league. Giroud has recovered sooner than expected but would unfortunately not be available for champions league selection till he can be registered again in January.

Arsenal wuld go into the clash with Dortmund knowing that a win would guarantee them qualification to the next round.
