Three Goals In Five Minutes Help Arsenal past Aston Villa

arsenal vs aston villa

Aston Villa were dealt a blow in the measure they dealt Liverpool last week as Arsenal inflited a painful defeat on Paul Lambert’s side at the Villa Park.

Arsenal opened the scoring in the 30th minute with Ozil’s classy finish following Welbecks pass and all the scoring in the match was finished in the 36th minute when Cissokho deflected the ball into his own net. Between Ozil’s strike and Cissokho’s own goal, Welbeck scored his first Arsenal goal, meeting Ozil’s cross into the box to fire in from point blank range. Arsenal slowed the game down in the second half with neither side really creating any telling chances.

Arsenal have continued their unbeaten start to the premier league this season and currently sit in second place behind Chelsea.
