Sterling Staying At Anfield: Rodgers

Liverpool manager, Brendan Rodgers is confident that Liverpool can hang on to Raheem Sterling despite the growing interest from Real Madrid

Real Madrid have intensified their pursuit of the teenage sensation over the last few weeks and Liverpool’s inability to tie the Englishman to a long term contract and enforce a release clause are clearly factors why Real Madrid are pushing to make the deal happen as soon as possible. But Liverpool manager, Brendan Rodgers has expressed optimism claiming that the player is happy and settled at Liverpool and they would not be letting go of their man at whatever price.

Sterling or his representatives are yet to comment on the growing uncertainty. Liverpool and Rodgers on their part made these kinds of statements about Suarez and ended up selling him to Barcelona.
