Chelsea Could Bring In Barkley For £50 Million

Ross-Barkley

Chelsea and Manchester City have been on the hunt for Everton starlet Ross Barkley with both teams trying and failing to bring in the England international over the summer.

Manchester City were preparing a move for the attacking midfielder for next summer when Everton announced they would not let Ross go for anything less than 50 million pounds. Manchester City declined to make any further move for the player as they were only prepared to pay 35 million pounds for the player. Chelsea are now the only major contenders for the young man’s signature if they are willing to dole out 50 million pounds for the young man.

Barkley has been out with injury this season for Everton and can play across the entire attacking midfield. 50 million pounds could however be too huge an investment for the young man considering he is no Diego Costa, Raheem Sterling or Eden Hazard.
