Liverpool Will Offer Sterling Over A Hundred Thousand Euros To Stay At Anfield

Liverpool are currently in negotiations with dynamic winger, Raheem Sterling as they try to extend his contract and keep him away from Real Madrid.

Sterling has been a source of many transfer rumors over the last three weeks with the interest from Real Madrid intensifying during that period. Even though the player claimed he was happy at Liverpool, the club officials felt a huge contract offer could see the Jamaican born England international leave the club in the near future.

The new contract could see Sterling earn almost 130 thousand Euros weekly and is reported to include a 120 million pound release clause. These details are however not confirmed. What is confirmed is that Liverpool officials and Sterling’s agent were in a meeting yesterday to discuss the player’s future.

Liverpool will want to make this deal happen as quickly as possible because the longer they wait, the more expensive it will become to hang on to the player if his performances continue to improve as they have over the last seven months
