Younes Kaboul has been named the new team captain for Tottenham Hotspurs by Mauricio Pochettino.
Kaboul, who joined Spurs in 2007 was described by his manager as a thorough professional who had shown all the qualities necessary to be named the captain of the squad this season. Although Many expected Jan Vertonghen to be named captain, Pochettino decided to go with the Frenchman and the decision didn’t sit too well with some of the fans.
Adebayor and Hugo Lloris were named as vice captains and all three players would look to play a major part as Tottenham Hotspurs look to challenge for a place in the champions league next season and establish themselves as a top English team.
