The world’s tallest dog , Zane, a Great Dane from Michigan has passed away. According to his owner Kevin Doorlag, the pooch passed away at the age of 5 just two days from celebrating his two years anniversary as the world’s tallest dog according to the Guinness world records.
The gargantuan Great Dane stood at 44 inches at the shoulder, and seven foot four when he was standing on his hind legs. He weighed 155lb and chewed through 30lb of dog food every day. Kevin Doorlag said Deus was so huge, small children thought he was a horse. He added that he was a wonderful dog who loved to fit his giant frame on their laps when they sat outside on the deck at their Otsego home and that he would be greatly missed.
