Arsenal Target Yobo (Reports)

Arsenal who are going through a defensive crisis after failing to replace Vermaeleen during the transfer window have reportedly turned their attention to former Nigerian captain, Joseph Yobo.

Yobo who is currently a free agent has been on the radar of a few championship clubs in recent weeks but would be delighted to hear about interest from a club like Arsenal. Yobo who has vast experience in the premier league from his days with Everton and Norwich would be an okay buy for Arsenal seeing as he would only be a fringe player for the club while they get through the injury crisis currently ravaging the team.

While Arsene Wenger has admitted his need for a defender, “la Professiuer has refrained from name droping but sources close to the Arsenal manager have revealed that the coach is keen on Yobo and Diego Lugano.
