England are prepared to fast-track Liverpool’s youngster Jordon Ibe in to the senior set-up so as to keep from playing for the Super Eagles of Nigeria

Ibe has burst onto limelight recently following a string of impressive displays for The Reds.

Jordan Ibe has played for the England for the Under 18s, Under 19s and Under 20s levels

However, Jordan Ibe is fully eligible to play for Nigeria through his father who is a Nigerian and the NFF have already begun the process of trying to convince the teenager that playing for the men in green will be best for him

Ibe is eligible to play for Nigeria until he plays a competitive international for the senior side.

The NFF’s interest in Ibe has not gone unnoticed by the England set-up, who are eager not to lose him

The English FA will consider fast-tracking Ibe into the senior set-up in the coming months in an attempt to convince him his international future remains with England, particularly if he continues in his rich vein of form.
