The ex Super Eagle’s point man scored twice to make sure that Seattle Sounders dusted off Portland Timbers in a MLS showdown at the Providence Park on Sunday night.
The former Intermilan man then made a meat of a perfect cross from Brad Evans in the 18th minute and the assisted Clint Dempsey for the second goal in the 34th minute.
He then took his total goal for the MLS season to 10 as he scored his second goal for the night.
Sounders sit atop the Western Conference with 45 points from 24 games.
