Manchester United Target Godin (Reports)

Manchester United are desperate to solve their defensive frailties in January. A few names have already been tossed around at Old Trafford and the latest player to be added to van Gaal’s lengthy defender wishlist is Atletico Madrid’s Diego Godin.

Godin who has been consistent and impressive over the past two years for Atletico Madrid might not fancy a move to Old Trafford for football reasons but he just mighr move for financial reasons. Manchester United can obviously pay substantially more than Atletico Madrid can.

Godin who is good on the air and on the ground is also a danger in set pieces and would be a great acquisition for Manchester United. It is difficult to gauge Manchester United’s valuation at this point as no figures have been openly discussed yet.
