Liverpool have had their defensive problems this season but the top on the list must be their inability to field a goalkeeper that would be able to keep a clean sheet. But all that is about to change as they look set to sign Chelsea goalie, Petr Cech.
Cech who would be out of contract with Chelsea in the summer would probably accept a move to Liverpool in January since he has lost his place in the Chelsea goal to Thibaut Courtois. Cech has been quiet about a possible move away from Stamford bridge but Cech’s agent would be looking tomove his client on so as to enable the Czech republic man get first team football.
Liverpool might wait till the summer before bringing in Petr Cech but they run the risk of losing Cech to other European teams who are interested in the goalie’s signature.
