Chelsea Beat Spurs 3-0 Without Diego Costa

Didier Drogba and Loic Remy showed the world that Chelsea were still capable of finding the net even if Diego Costa was not on the pitch as both players were on target in Chelsea’s 3-0 victory over London rivals, Tottenham Hotspurs.


Stamford Bridge did not seem to miss Diego Costa Who was suspended for the match as Chelsea took the lead in the 19th minute through Hazard after the Belgian played a neat one-two woth Drogba before dancing past three defenders and slotting home under Lloris from a tight angle. Drogba added a second for Chelsea in the 23rd minute after a poor clearance from Lloris feel to Hazard who fed the ball to Oscar wh put the Ivorian through to make it two nil. The second half was eventless until Drogba’s substitute, Loic Remy showed his strength against Vertonghen before side-footing the ball in the net.


Chelsea’s dominant display means they still enjoy a seven point lead at the top of the table and are looking like odds on favorites to win the Premier League this season
