Beyoncé surpasses Dolly Parton to become Grammy’s all-time most nominated Female

Call her Queen Bey, Queen of the Grammys! Beyoncé officially slipped passed 68 year old American country pop singer, Dolly Parton following the 2015 Grammy nominations on friday. According to Billboard, the Queen Bey has earned 52 nominations total, including five nominations through midday Friday for her self-titled “visual” album.


So far, the singer is up for Best R&B Performance, Best R&B Song, Best Urban Contemporary Album, Best Surround Sound Album and Best Music Film. Queen Bey ran into her 47th nod early Friday when her album, “Beyonce” was announced as a contender for Best Urban Contemporary Album.

She was previously tied with Dolly Parton at 46 nominations prior to this announcement. She also vaulted into seventh place on the all-time list.


Still young, she could go on to become the all-time most nominated artist. How many times has she told you all to bow down? Guess it’s time to listen.
