The European qualifiers are in full swing and the group B fixture between Wales and Israel was a beautiful thing to behold.
In Spain, Welshman Gareth Bale was suffering from a goal drought. This wasn’t evident though as Bale was superb against counterparts Israel.
Israel went into the match unbeaten but left scathed. The match started on the right note for visitors, Wales. They threatened the Israeli goal via Bale on numerous occasions.
The breakthrough came just before the break when a Bale flick was superbly converted by Arsenal midfielder, Aaron Ramsey who headed the ball into the back of the net.
The second half held more good things for the visitors and Bale.
The restart saw Bale net a brilliant freekick, as his shot was smashed into the top corner past a motionless Marciano.
Wales were not done though, as the partnership between Ramsey and Bale saw the Real man complete his brace. A mazing run from the Arsenal midfielder left the Israel defence befuddled, as he returned the favour and assisted a Bale goal.
A boost of confidence might just be what Bale needs before heading back to Spain.
Wales top group B and are unbeaten in the qualifiers so far.
