Germany international and Real Madrid midfielder, Toni Kroos has accused the Spanish media of being to heavy-handed with the Spanish club.

The European champions are currently suffering a major dip in form in 2015, with their loss to Barcelona leaving four points behind the Catalans.

The defeat and fluctuating form of the spanish club has placed pressure on the future of the coach, Carlo Ancelotti, ignoring the fact that he led them to 22 wins prior to the winter break. The Italian might find himself out of a job.

Kroos believes the media are far too willing to criticise the club at every junction they get.

“Those who know me a bit better know I’m not like a flag that moves with the wind, as they sometimes do in the Spanish media,” he told Sport1.

“When you win a game, everything is good, and when you lose, everything is negative”
