After initially denying contact concerning a friendly against Nigeria, the South African Football Association has alongside the Nigerian Football Federation announced a friendly between the Super Eagles and the Bafana Bafana on the 29th of March, 2015.
Both countries are set to re-enact a rivalry that has spanned over two decades as the last clash ended 2-2 in Uyo and the result condemned Nigeria to absence at the 2015 AFCON. Nigerian fans have not forgotten about that and would be itching for the super eagles to set the record straight. Both teams are currently preparing for the 2017 AFCON qualifiers and the 2018 World cup qualifiers.
The match is scheduled to take place at Mbombela in South Africa just three days after the Super Eagles take on Bolivia.
