Chelsea In For Koke

Atletico Madrid's Jorge "Koke" Resurrecion celebrates his goal against Real Madrid during their Spanish first division soccer match in Madrid

Love him, hate him, criticize him all you want, but you cannot fail to admit that Jose Mourinho is one of the most successful managers in the world. One of the many reasons why Mourninho has been so successful over the last decade is the fact that he never stops looking for ways to improve his team. His recent forays into the transfer market are proof of that.

Mourinho already has midfield marshals like Ramires, Oscar, Fabregas and Nemanja Matic, Mourinho has returned to the club where he bought Diego Costa, a name that has become synonymous with Goals in the premier league to bring in an assist king in the person of Koke. Koke who is an established Spanish international has become a key player for Atletico Madrid. His swift movements and precise passing are some of the reasons why Chelsea are willing to pay 44 million Euros for his services in the summer. Koke has stated that he would be open to a move away from Atletico and Atletico are looking to cash in on the midfielder now.

Manchester City and Juventus are also rumored to be interested in Koke but Chelsea are clearly the frontrunners for his signature as officials from the London club have already met with the Madrid club to discuss a possible transfer.
