Kano Pillars’ Players Discharged From The Hospital

Three of the five Kano Pillars players who were hospitalized following a robbery on Thursday have been discharged from the hospital with two other players still receiving treatment.


The Kano Pillars’ team bus was attacked and robbed on their way to Owerri to take on Heartlands and five of their players had to be hospitalized after sustaining multiple injuries during the ordeal. Gambo Mohammed, Adamu Murtala and Otepka Eneji have all been released from the hospital while Reuben Ogbonnaya and Ekpai Moses are still receiving treatment at the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital in Kano after they were moved the Federal Medical Centre, Lokoja.


The discharged players are not quite set to return to full training as they are expected to complete their recovery before they begin training.
