Real Madrid are reportedly content for goalkeeper David De Gea‘s contract at Manchester United to expire.
De Gea has just 18 months left on his contract, and his delay in signing a new one has given the Madrid giants hope.
Real Madrid still have the legendary Iker Casillas and Keylor Navas on their books, and are in no hurry to sign the tall Spaniard.
De Gea is said to be happy at United, but the prospect of returning home and playing for Real Madrid may be too much to ignore.
The former Atletico man will be able to talk to other clubs from next January if he doesn’t sign a new deal with United.
