QPR In Ameobi Bid

Queens Park Rangers have identified Shola Ameobi as a major transfer target as they look to strengthen their attack this season and are currently in contact with Newcastle over the Nigerian’s future

QPR submitted an inquiry into the Nigerians availability and Newcastle responded with an undisclosed price. QPR have since been in negotiations with the Tynside over the cost of the player as QPR look to wrap up the move before the close of the January transfer window. Newcastle on their part are belived to be stalling as they consider some offers from other clubs and are look in to get the maximum pay out for Ameobi’s services.

Ameobi is not keen on leaving his childhood club but as the club comes into new management, it might just be time for the big forward to move on
