He’s Gone: AC Milan Make Torres Move Permanent

torres to milan

Chelsea have confirmed the sale of Fernando Torres to AC Milan for an undisclosed fee. According to Chelsea, the deal would be completed on the 5th of January to make him an AC Milan player on a permanent basis.

AC Milan signed Fernando Torres on loan in August after the former Liverpool man failed to stamp his authority at Stamford Bridge. Reports suggested that AC Milan were set to cancel the strikers deal after the Spaniard only managed one goal in eleven appearances but AC Milan have kept faith with the striker and have apparently handed him a two year contract that comes with a massive pay cut.

There is talk of Torres moving on loan to Atletico Madrid in January while Atletico move Alessio Cerci the other way till the end of the season as Atletico look to bring their prodigal son home even if it would be just for six months.
