Super Eagles’ goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama has revealed his delight at making the final 3 for the African Player of The Year Award.
“I feel so proud and honoured to have been nominated for this award. To be the best in Africa is not easy and I am excited that I have been shortlisted,” he told SL10.ng.
“I have to say a very big thank you to all those who voted for me, it’s a big honour for me, my family and my country.”
Enyeama is up against Cote D’Ivoire’s Yaya Toure and Gabon’s Pierre Erick Aubameyang. The winner of the award will be announced in Lagos on January 8, 2015.
